SHIFT ROTAS
This publication contains 125 fully illustrated examples of integrated annual hours rotas. That is rotas in which holiday entitlements are an integral part of the pattern of working time, and which whilst maintaining the level of production required, generate extended rest periods of one, two, or more, weeks per team/employee.
The majority of the illustrative rotas provide twenty-four hours cover a day, for seven days a week, for all, or a major part, of the calendar year. However, some examples of annual hours rotas based on semi-continuous working are included. The examples cover four, five and six team working; different length extended rest periods; variations in the speed and direction of rotation; and , three (8hr) and two (12hr) shift a day working.
